We would like to announce that we now have a new program.
Exercise Your Pain Away is an osteoarthritis (wear and tear of joints and muscles), osteoporosis and diabetes program.
You may be suffering from osteoarthritis, osteoporosis or diabetes. Or you may feel that you are getting weaker in the knees. And you want to prevent the ill effects of these conditions because you see what is happening to older generations.
If so, please read on.
These conditions can lead to unnecessary surgeries, most commonly knee and hip replacements and spinal surgery and fractures. Or simply they affect the quality of your life. Currently, one of the most effective way of managing these conditions is targeted exercise programs.
Exercise Your Pain Away program is designed for this purpose. It is based on exercises with one to one sessions in two stages. The first stage includes exercises to eliminate pain. The second stage is to improve your overall strength so that you prevent further weakness in your muscles and tendons and bone density loss.
What are osteoarthritis, osteoporosis and diabetes?
Osteoarthritis affects joints that are made of bone, cartilage, ligaments and muscles. In later stages it is characterized by loss of the cartilage but there are many causes. Osteoarthritis mainly affects people at older ages, but it can develop in younger people after an injury. Osteoarthritis is different to osteoporosis.
Osteoporosis is a condition where the bones become fragile and brittle, causing them to break more easily. It happens most commonly after the age of 40. (Arthritis and Osteoporosis of NSW)
Diabetes is a serious complex condition which can affect the entire body. Diabetes requires daily self-care. While there is currently no cure for diabetes, you can live an enjoyable life by learning about the condition and effectively managing it. (Diabetes Australia)
